North Cascades National Park Elopement
A dark and moody elopement in the rugged North Cascades National Park, overlooking Diablo Lake
Eliza and Levi
Eloped at North Cascades National Park.
Their ceremony was held on a bluff overlooking Diablo Lake. It is possibly the most stunning scenery in the PNW. There aren't many things better than an intimate elopement among the mountains. We had about 40 minutes of light - dark light, and it was absolutely perfect. Surrounded by their closest family members, Eliza and Levi delivered their devastatingly heartfelt vows to each other to the tune of happy tears and loving support from their witnesses. After the bride and groom made it official and wrapped the ceremony up with a kiss we spent the remainder of the day pulling every last bit of light we could and made moody portraits of the newlyweds.
The beautiful thing about eloping is all the pressure of a wedding is eliminated and you get to focus on what matters most, love. It is stripped down, raw, gritty, messy, and most of all it is true.
Days like these are why we do what we do.
