Julia and Aaron are professional dancers living and working in Pittsburgh, PA.

They were married in Julia's hometown of Seattle - the same town that they met in 16 years ago when Aaron moved to the Emerald City to dance.

Their wedding and story moved us.

They had their wedding at Sodo Park, the venue we’ve photographed more than any other but their beautiful presence sparked something we’ve never seen before. We always tell our clients that working together is a collaboration - what can you bring to the table to make your wedding unique to you? Julia and Aaron met as professional dancers at the Pacific Northwest Ballet and they brought that elegance and grace to their union here in Seattle. Julia brought her point shoes to their first look and when she put them on, they both lit up. They are fun, graceful and so in love and this really translated through their photos because they went the extra mile to bring that very special piece of their relationship to their wedding.

Sodo Park is a century old building flooded with natural light, soaring ceilings, and exposed wood. Its 7,500 square feet of open space that is just waiting to be transformed into the wedding of your dreams. The space, alone, is already so romantic.
