A Beautifully Wet Wedding at Lake Crescent Lodge
A Beautiful mess at Lake Crescent Lodge. An Olympic National park Wedding.
Annie and Chris
These two got married in the best corner of the world, Lake Crescent in the incredible Olympic National Park. Lake Crescent is a Glacial lake surrounded by mountains, offering up incredible views and a feeling that you are somewhere unique, because you are.
The Lodge where they got married was built in 1914 and sits on the south shore of the lake. It’s a minimal venue for weddings, but that is just what you want when you choose a location like this for your wedding, you want the nature to shine with little distractions.
The weather at this wedding was all over the place, we had rain, blazing sun, and wind, and it all made for a dynamic collection of photos. As soon as Annie and Chris began to deliver their vows the rain came down like buckets on our heads. It was romantic and beautiful, everyone was feeling the love and nobody was bothered by the weather, because we knew we were in the midst of something special.
The olympic National Park offers so many beautiful options for a wedding, but Lake Crescent is exceptional.
